“Where there is security, there is a guarantee of rights.
Greece is not suffering from rights violations. It is suffering from a lack of security, so we will focus there,” Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrisochoidis said late on Sunday in the parliament.
There will be more effective border control and migration policy. There will also be effective, modern civil protection and modern crisis and disaster management. There will be a new modern criminal and penal policy, with changes in prisoners’ living conditions and with respect for human rights.
“Every day the patrols are increasing and will increase even further,” he said, adding that more than 500 police officers have already returned to police departments.”
