We want clear solutions, not ad hoc majorities, Labour Min Achtsioglou says

“We want to proceed with our work with clear solutions, not by seeking ad hoc majorities, and for this reason we are asking for a vote of confidence,” Labour Minister Effie Achtsioglou said in an interview with «dikaiologitika.gr» on Tuesday.

“We have asked for and will receive vote of confidence to continue our work in support of the greater social majority until the completion of our constitutional four-year term,” she noted.

The minister noted that one the foremost tasks before the government is that of increasing the minimum wage and providing relief to the working classes from the accumulated burdens of the crisis period, as well as implementing a comprehensive housing policy for the protection of primary residences and on rent subsidies. Among these tasks, she added, were also the major institutional changes that had been launched, such as the revision of the constitution and the agreement with the Church of Greece.

Standing before this crucial crossroads, she added, every deputy is called upon to adopt a position and assume his or her responsibility.”
