National Seamen’s Federation strike will go ahead on Monday: Ships will remain docked at the ports

The National Seamen’s Federation (NSF) will go ahead with its strike on Monday after rejecting the terms proposed by passenger ferries owners at a meeting on Friday.

The Association of Passenger Ferry Businesses (SEEN) proposed a 1% raise as of September 1 and another 1% raise on June 1, 2019.

NSF rejected the proposals and said they would go ahead with their scheduled strike on September 3, warning about escalating labor actions.
