The water and electricity supply on the island of Hydra will have been fully restored in the afternoon thanks to two temporary solutions,” the mayor of the island Giorgos Koukoudakis said on Monday in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency’s radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM.

“The water supply problem is slowly being restored with the help of a tanker granted by the Greek Navy. We would like to thank the Defence Ministry for its contribution. Meanwhile, two large generators are expected to electrify the island,” he said.
