President Prokopis Pavlopoulos meets with Foreign Minister of Vietnam Rham Binh Minh




Greece will seek further collaboration with Vietnam based on the implementation of the international law, Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos said on Monday after his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Vietnam Rham Binh Minh, at the presidential mansion.

On his part, the Vietnamese officals thanked Pavlopoulos for the warm welcome and noted that Greece is deeply respected in Vietnam not only for its role in history and in culture but also for its support to the Vietnamese people’s struggle for independence. “We are aware that many of your country’s leaders participated in demonstrations during our struggle for independence”, he said.

Finally, he conveyed the Vietnamese president’s invitation to pay a an official visit to Vietnam.
