Greek economy leaves room for non – implementation of voted measures, Skourletis says

Interior Minister Panos Skourletis in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Sunday expressed the view that the Greek economy leaves room for the non- implementation of voted measures.

He underlined that the end of the memoranda is translated into greater possibilities for the restoration of the society.
“Obviously we cannot restore in a few months all the jobs lost and 40-45 pct of the income lost,” he said adding that what is important is to show that our policy is moving towards this direction and that all measures taken will improve the people’s lives.
On the Prespes Agreement, he said that what was achieved was a nationally beneficial compromise that gives both parties the opportunity to move along the path of co-development.
