Movement for Change leader Fofi Gennimata assailed the government for its leadership on Wednesday and asked for early elections so that a new government may safely lead the country out of the loan memoranda.
Gennimata accused Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras of leading the country into a fourth memorandum, and said, “Enough with the fairytales; there is no hope; the exit leads to a new programme.”
She also asked for early elections in order for a new government to assume the responsibility of important decisions for the future of the country.
The leader of Movement for Change stressed that the SYRIZA/ANEL coalition government is not legitimised to hinder Greece’s development. She added that this government has already handed over everything: public assets and banks which cost the state 25 billion euros.
Gennnimata also accused the government of having “destroyed the present and mortgaged the future,” adding that the government presents a danger to national issues.
