Fair growth will follow Greece’s exit from the bailout, assures minister Alekos Flambouraris

Greece’s exit from the bailout in August “will create the basis for fair growth, further boosting investor confidence,” said Minister of State Alekos Flambouraris in an interview to Sunday’s Kontranews newspaper.

The minister adds that from the end of the summer, Greece will gradually start to phase out austerity measures, replacing them with growth policies, which give an emphasis to the real economy, in combination with the largest possible benefit for the community.

Responding to talk of Greece calling snap polls, Flambouraris says that national elections will take place in October 2019, meaning the government will exhaust its four year term.
