National Bank to launch online property auction platform next month
National Bank of Greece (NBG) is set to launch next month its own online platform to auction off property, following in the steps of the country’s largest lender, Piraeus Bank, said George Frangou, head of group real estate at NBG, on Tuesday.

Piraeus Bank on Tuesday announced the completion of an agreement to sell its 98.5 pct stake in its subsidiary in Egypt Piraeus BankEgypt SAE (PBE) to Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), after obtaining all necessary approvals by Egyptian and Greek authorities.
