The Greek foreign ministry’s Crisis Management Unit has been activated in order to assist Greeks that want to leave Lebanon, at the orders of Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis, the ministry announced on Wednesday.

The announcement stressed that Greek citizens can contact the Consular Office of the Greek Embassy in Beirut at the emergency number (+961) 71 593659 and at the folling e-mail: [email protected]

Alternatively, those seeking assistance can call the following phone numbers at the Greek foreign ministry: (+30) 210-3681350 and (+30) 210-3681730.
