Missing British tourist found dead on a beach on the island of Rhodes

The 48-year-old British tourist, who had been missing since Wednesday afternoon on the island of Rhodes, was found dead on a beach.
The tourist was on holiday on the island with relatives. He was last seen at Theologou beach, where he had gone swimming with his niece.
His young niece left earlier leaving him on the beach. When she later returned to the beach and could not see him, she notified the appropriate authorities.
An autopsy was ordered by the Central Port Authority of Rhodes, which is conducting the preliminary investigation.
