Greek President inaugurates Cavafy House in Alexandria restored by Onassis Foundation

President Sakellaropoulou receives highest Patriarchate of Alexandria honor

President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou will visit Alexandria from Friday to Sunday to inaugurate the renovated Cavafy House, following an invitation from Onassis Foundation President Antonis Papadimitriou.

While in Egypt, Sakellaropoulou will also meet with Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Theodore II as well as members of the Greek communities of Alexandria and Cairo.
