PM Sarmas receives US Ambassador in Athens: Greek-U.S. relations “at their best point”

The head of Greece’s caretaker government, Prime Minister Ioannis Sarmas, on Wednesday received the U.S. Ambassador to Greece George J. Tsunis at his office.

The ambassador congratulated Sarmas on his appointment as prime minister and wished the caretaker government good luck in its endeavours.

They reaffirmed that Greek-U.S. relations are “at their best point”.
