Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Government sources said that Mitsotakis expressed his satisfaction over the European Commission’s proposal that Ukraine be granted the status of an EU candidate-country, while also reassuring Zelensky of Greece’s continued support of Ukraine.
