Defence Min Dendias returns to Greece from New York due to developments in the Middle East

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Friday met with US Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt.

Their talks focused on Greek-US relations, Ukraine in the light of Dendias’ recent visit to Mariupol, issues of multilateral cooperation (including the 3+1 schemes) and developments in the region.

“Grateful to hear Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias following his visit to Mariupol. The US welcomes the Minister’s leadership and Greece’s support for Ukraine sovereignty at this critical time. I underscored our commitment to EastMed energy and advancing regional partnerships through the 3+1,” Pyatt tweeted after the meeting.
