Dendias to visit Ukraine on Monday: He will be received by President Volodymyr Zelensky

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will go to Ukraine on Monday, July 5. In Kiev, he is expected to be received by President Volodymyr Zelensky, Parliament Speaker Dmytro Razumkov and meet with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

The talks are expected to focus on deepening bilateral political, economic and cultural relations, the European Union’s Eastern Neighborhood Policy and in particular EU-Ukraine relations, as well as broader developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea region, the foreign ministry’s statement said.

After the talks with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, joint statements are expected to be made around 11.45 (Athens time). The foreign minister is also expected to deliver a speech at the conference “Forum Ukraine 30. International Politics” (around 10.30 Athens time).

Afterwards, Dendias will go to Odessa, where he will visit the Museum of the Friendly Society, as well as the Greek Park. He is also expected to have meetings with representatives of the Greek communities, as well as businessmen operating in the area.
