New Democracy’s priority is citizens’ sense of security in Greece, Vasilis Kikilias says

New Democracy (ND) shadow defence minister Vassilis Kikilias on Thursday accused the government of creating a climate of divisiveness leading to the next general elections, while he referred to party leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ presence in Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) he said that ND leader will present and analyse the vision, the programme and the hope for a better tomorrow.
“The priority for ND is citizens’ safety. The feeling of safety in the interior, the protection of borders and the feeling of safety for the Greek family. Another priority is the tax reduction and this is the main ingredient of our growth policy and our main difference with SYRIZA. SYRIZA overtaxed everyone, we are going to reduce the taxes,” he said.
Finally, referring to Greek-American relations, Kikilias noted that as Turkey is not stable at this time, Greece is being geostrategically upgraded, something that Greece must take advantage of, not to extend the government’s stay in power but to bring real benefits to the Greek people.
