Fires investigation needs cooperation of society and parties, says researcher Goldhammer (video)

Max Planck Institute researcher and Global Fire Monitoring Center (GFMC) director Johann Georg Goldammer spoke to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) about the decision to set up an international fire investigation committee in Greece following an invitation from the Greek government.
The independent committee, which he will co-ordinate, will be staffed mainly by Greek experts and should, in his opinion, be supported by all society and all Greek parties. However, the committee will not be involved in the investigation into Mati fires.
