Nearly half of the inspected houses in the fire-stricken areas found uninhabitable




A total of 1,218 houses are no longer habitable in the areas affected by the fires in Attica, according to the infrastructure ministry.

This corresponds to 48.95 percent of the 2,489 buildings that have been checked so far. The remaining 1,272, ie 51.07 percent, were considered habitable.

Also, in cooperation with the region of Attica, 305 cars damaged by the fire were moved in order to open up blocked roads in Mati.
