The second round of the talks on the issue of Territory began today in Switzerland

The talks between the President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades and the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community Mr Mustafa Akinci on the issue of Territory began this morning at 10.30 (Cyprus time), in Mont Pelerin, Switzerland.
The meeting, which is taking place in the framework of the talks at the Mont Pelerin resort, is also attended.,on behalf of the Greek Cypriot community, by the interlocutor Mr Andreas Mavroyiannis, the Government Spokesman and Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President Mr Nikos Christodoulides and professional staff.
At the beginning of the morning session of the talks, which are taking place under the auspices of the United Nations, Greek Cypriot, Turkish Cypriot and foreign Mass Media representatives were allowed to take photographs and shoot TV footage of the opening of this first meeting of the leaders that is conducted within the framework of the second round of negotiations on the issue of Territory.
