A tanker truck that caught fire on Friday after overturning at the 56th kilometer of the Athens-Corinth (Olympia Odos) has led to traffic diversions on the motorway near the town of Kinetta.

A total of 12 firefighters with four vehicles were deployed to put out the fire, while there were no reports of people trapped inside the truck.
The overturning of the truck and the fire have created problems for vehicle traffic in both directions, according to a police announcement, leading to the adoption of traffic measures. Specifically, there are traffic diversions in place at 1) the Kinetta junction, in the lanes toward Athens, and 2) the Pachi junction, in the direction toward Corinth.
