US Special Envoy on the name issue Matthew Nimetz warmly welcomed the agreement between Greece and FYROM on Tuesday, and called the decision “a mutually beneficial solution for the broader region.”
“The Greek government is waiting for (FYROM Prime Minister Zoran) Zaev to take the decisive step for an agreement; the ball is in their court,” government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said late on Sunday in an interview with Kontra Channel.
