A cabinet meeting under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is currently underway and issues related to the economy and the Armed Forces have been discussed so far.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis gave instructions for the rapid implementation of the government’s reforms and the commitment of the ministers to the government’s program, during τηε cabinet meeting.
A new cabinet was announced by Government Spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos on Tuesday evening, including replacements of the ministers of Interior, Justice, Culture and Shipping, among others. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras also appointed Akritas Kaidatzis as government secretary general, a new position.
Government’s first priority is the battle for every day life and for this reason a new ministry is formed headed by State Minister Alekos Flambouraris, stated Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Sunday addressing the new cabinet after the government’s reshuffle on Friday.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras asks for the acceleration of the government’s work, speaking on Wednesday to the Cabinet meeting, the last for 2015, and noted that “delays can’t be excused”.
