BRUSSELS (ANA/M. Spinthourakis)—European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis expressed his satisfaction on Wednesday over the economic condition in Europe.
“We have taken Greece out of the memoranda, we have achieved a sustainable solution on debt, we have restored stability,” Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Thursday in Parliament.
Government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos characterised the revision of the Constitution the country’s Charter which is expected to trigger “a debate with many different opinions” adding that SYRIZA has carried out a laborious procedure which led to a proposal that included “mature demands and mature changes in the constitution that are taking into account the experience […]
“Given that we have now emerged from the period of the memoranda, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will present a comprehensive strategic plan for post-programme Greece in his speech at the opening of the 83rd Thessaloniki International Fair on Saturday,” government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on Tuesday in an interview with the radio station “24/7”.
The exit from the memoranda is not a typical procedure, but a historical milestone, government Vice President and Economy and Development Minister Yiannis Dragasakis said on Sunday in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
Both the Greek stock market and many European ones are affected by multiple factors.
Greece’s exit from the memoranda is a great success, French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire said on Sunday in an interview with ‘To Vima’ newspaper.
“The preparation for the next day has already started”, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said in an interview to the website Dikaiologitika News on Sunday.
Greece is “heading steadily towards the exit from the long crisis and the suffocating surveillance, and only a short distance remains to the end,” Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said in Parliament on Wednesday.
