Cyprus and Greece will assume joint actions to promote their decisions both on international and EU level, ahead of the Geneva meeting on January 9-12, Cyprus Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides has said.
Cyprus President and Greek Prime Minister stressed Wednesday that no European state should be under warranty of any country, after their meeting in Athens where Nicos Anastasiades fully briefed Alexis Tsipras on the negotiations that took place last week in Mont Pelerin, Switzerland.
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will visit Cyprus between 26-28 October for talks with top government officials, the Archbishop, parliamentary parties and social players.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides stressed that Cyprus will not agree to the opening of two EU -Turkey negotiating chapters so that Ankara cooperates in the refugees` crisis.
