All necessary actions for full respect of the Prespes Agreement will be taken, Tzanakopoulos says

Government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos expressed confidence that steps

will be taken to ensure respect of the Prespes Agreement, speaking on radio News24/7 on Friday.
“I understand that [FYROM Prime Minister Zoran] Zaev, taking into account the fact that he is fighting a political battle, may sometimes exaggerate with respect to the interpretation [of the agreement],” Tzanakopoulos said, adding that “all necessary actions to ensure full respect of the Prespes Agreement, on the part of our neighbours, will be taken,” he said.
He expressed his certainty that all the progressive forces will understand the necessity to take advantage of the opportunity and that the agreement will be ratified when it comes to parliament, provided the revision of FYROM’s constitution is completed.
Regarding the stance of Independent Greeks (the junior partner in the coalition government) on this matter, Tzanakopoulos said that he continues to consider as given the statement made by ANEL leader Panos Kammenos before the Cabinet, namely that ANEL will never align with main opposition New Democracy to overthrow the government.
On the prospect of early elections scenarios, he ruled out this scenario, adding that the government will complete its four-year term.
