The polling stations for the run-off of the elections for a new leader in PASOK-Movement for Change opened at 07:00 on Sunday.

Candidates are current party leader Nikos Androulakis and mayor of Athens Haris Doukas. Androulakis was first in the first round of the elections last Sunday with 29.64 percent, Doukas was second with 21.41 percent followed by Pavlos Geroulanos with 21.12 percent.

Today’s voting will last until 19:00 pm and a little while later the winner will be announced.

The voters’ participation will play an important role, which in the second round is expected to be reduced by approximately 30%, according to the data of the previous elections of 2021.
