Defence Min Dendias: The Armed Forces have always stood by the society
The Armed Forces of our country, historically and regardless of parties, governments, or ministers, stand by society to support it and to uphold our collective effort for a better future, stated on Thursday, the Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias after the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of National Defence and the volunteer organisation “To Hamogelo tou Paidiou” (The smile of the Child).
The memorandum was signed by Dendias and the president of “To Hamogelo tou Paidiou” Konstantinos Giannopoulos.
The purpose of the memorandum is to establish a framework of cooperation between the Ministry and “To Hamogelo tou Paidiou” aimed at promoting the quality of life, safety, and health of minors who belong to socially vulnerable groups or have been affected by natural and other disasters.
