89th Thessaloniki International Fair kicks off on Saturday with 1,100 exhibitors
The 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) opens its gates on Saturday with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ speech at 19:30.
More than 1,000 exhibitors will participate in the Fair that is expanded in an area of 33,000 square meters. The 100th anniversary of its founding in 1925 gives this year’s event a special importance with events that “bridge” the past, the present and the future.
With 19 official state participations, but also with a strong business character, since 400 business meetings will be held and 44 chambers and 351 businesses will participate, the 89th TIF is accompanied by a rich cultural program, which includes, among others, a major concert-tribute to Mikis Theodorakis, a treasure hunt inside and outside the exhibition center and a creation area for children, “Juniorland.”
Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience the racing driving of McLaren Formula 1 on the most demanding tracks in the world through two simulators.
