FM Gerapetritis in New York from 23 to 25 February; to meet with UN sec gen Gutteres

Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis visits New York from 23 to 25 Februarywhere among others he will meet (on Tuesday 25 February) with UN Secretary General Antonio Gutteres.

More specifically, on Monday, February 24, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will participate, at 10:00 a.m., in a meeting of the General Assembly and, at 15:00 , in a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine, within the framework of Greece’s tenure as a member of the UN Security Council for 2025-2026. At 18:30, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will officially announce, in a special event at the United Nations, the beginning of Greece’s term in the UN Security Council.

On Tuesday, February 25,  Gerapetritis will take part, at 10:00, in a meeting of the Security Council for the Middle East. Finally, at 12:30 the foreign minister will meet with Guterres.

During his visit to New York Gerapetritis will meet with respresentatives of the Greek Diaspora.
