Voting in person on censure motion against Kasselakis concluded

The in-person voting process by members of main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance’s Central Committee on a censure motion against party leader Stefanos Kasselakis was concluded on Sunday.

It will be followed by a process where Central Committee members unable to attend will phone in their votes.
There will then be a vote count.

The voting on the censure motion against Kasselakis, which was filed by 100 Central Committee members on Saturday, began at 10:00 at the downtown hotel where the two-day Central Committee meeting is being held, with three ballot boxes in which members voted in alphabetical order.
In order for the censure motion to pass, it must receive the approval of 50% plus one of the total votes, or 148 of the 295 committee members.
