Turkish citizen arrested on Chios island for weapon possession and forgery

A 30-year-old Turkish citizen was arrested on the island of Chios by the Hellenic Police (ELAS) in cooperation with the National Intelligence Service (EYP) on charges of weapon possession and forgery.
The man was found with forged Italian documents, a pistol and ammunition. Greek authorities are investigating potential links to the recent murders of six Turkish nationals in Loutsa and another in Piraeus.
