32 wildfires in the past 24 hours across Greece

In the past 24 hours, 32 wildfires have broken out across Greece. According to Fire Service, 29 of these fires have been contained at their initial stage, while efforts are still ongoing to control the remaining three.

Fire that started on Friday in low vegetation in Schisto, Korydallos has been brought under partial control. Fire Service reported that the blaze began around 12:35 in a difficult-to-access area, with 50 firefighters, two teams of ground units from  1st Special Unit Dealing with Catastrophes (EMAK), 11 vehicles, and three helicopters deployed for its suppression.
