New York is the first state in the US to offer home energy rebate funding, now available through the state’s EmPower+ program. The launch of this program was announced on May 30th at the Andromeda Community Initiative (ACI) facilities in Long Island City.

John Kalafatis, is the founder of ACI, and the CEO of Andromeda Advantage.

Governor Kathy Hochul, joined U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Granholm, White House Senior Advisor John Podesta, Senator and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and other officials at ACI, to celebrate the launch of the initial phase of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program.
