A 44-year-old British citizen, one of the crew of a sailing boat, was pulled out of the sea unconscious in the area of Tsaldari bay, on the island of Spetses.

According to the Coast Guard, the 44-year-old man had sustained injuries to the left side of his head and was transferred to the island’s health centre, where he was pronounced dead.

Ηis body is expected to be transferred to the Piraeus coroner’s office for an autopsy.
