Panathinaikos basketball team returns victorious, with the Euroleague trophy in its luggage

Panathinaikos fans’ on Monday continued their celebrations for the team’s seventh Euroleague star, which began on Sunday night after the Greek team defeated Real Madrid during the final in Berlin to win the Euroleague title for the seventh time, after a break of 13 years.
The aircraft that brought the new champions to Greece departed earlier on Monday from the German capital, with its final destination being Athens International Airport. Their plane landed at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport at 13:30, with the Cup in their luggage.
Fans were waiting for the team at the airport, where a new round of celebrations began.
The teamboarded a bright green open bus with the slogan “King is Back” written on it and departed for parking 5 of the OAKA Olympic Stadium in Athens, in order to celebrate with its friends in the way it deserves.
