Mitsotakis: The government will table legislation for postal voting in national elections

“We also bring luck. For three reasons. The first reason is Olympiacos. The second reason is that this team reached the top of Europe 20 years after EURO 2004. And the third, because we organised a final without any extremities,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Thursday speaking to Parapolitika radio.
The prime minister said that the true face of Greece was shown yesterday while he noted that the Germans’ organisation of the Euroleague basketball final four was inferior to yesterday’s final.
Regarding Airbnb and the new intervention being studied by the government, he emphasised that it will concern the days the houses are rented out per year without giving further details.
On the high prices, Mitsotakis said that “the truth is that we have persistent food inflation and we have to deal with this issue.”
He added that he insists very much on the need to have a European response to the multinationals underlining that they have found allies.
Mitsotakis referred to the intervention in the health infrastructure in the National Health System stating that preventive exams are very important.
He also said that the government will immediately bring a regulation to be voted on before the end of the year which will provide the possibility of voting by mail in the national elections as well.
