Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Sunday, in his weekly report of the government’s work, referred to the political grave-digging, as he called it, of the tragic train crash in Tempi, attempted by the opposition which culminated with the motion of censure.

The premier said that they do not celebrate for their failure to overthrow the government by using the pain and the rage of the victims’ families. Nobody can be happy from toxicity and polarisation, we have paid dearly from them in the recent past” Mitsotakis said.

He also underlined that the government has confidence in justice and in what it decides and repeated that there was no cover up attempt. We are all being judged by the citizens.

Mitsotakis also referred to the new increase of minimum wage which will come into effect on April 1, 2024.
