The increase of the minimum wage will be announced at the end of March in order to be applied from April 1, 2024. The minimum wage will be over 800 euros, stated National Economy and Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis noting that the “first number of the minimum wage will start from 8 but there are discussions with the involved bodies and the government’s aim is to reach 950 euros at the end of its four-year term”.
