The representatives of the five parliamentary parties agreed to postpone Thursday’s televised debate between the party leaders due to the three-day mourning declared for the migrant boat tragedy off the coast of Pylos.
The party representatives did not manage to agree on a new date for the debate. In statements, the general secretary of interior affairs and organisation Mihalis Stavrianoudakis said that New Democracy proposed that the debate be held on Saturday, SYRIZA, PASOK and the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) on Sunday, while Greek Solution said it did not have a problem with any of the proposed dates.
