Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will visit London on Friday to meet with his British counterpart, Foreign Secretary James Cleverly.

The meeting will be the first between them after Cleverly assumed office on 6 September 2022.

Dendias has also met twice in the past with former British foreign secretary and current British Prime Minister Liz Truss.

Dendias and Cleverly are expected to discuss, among others, on the further strengthening of bilateral relations, developments in Ukraine after the Russian invasion, energy matters, the coordination of actions in the context of international organisations, such as NATO and the UN, as well as developments relating to the Eastern Mediterranean, the Cyprus issue and in Libya.
