Hardalias and Egyptian Defence Min Zaki discuss issues of bilateral cooperation

Issues relating to bilateral cooperation and ways to make this stronger in the fields of defence and security were discussed during a meeting between Deputy Defence Minister Nikos Hardalias with Egyptian Defence Minister General Mohamed Zaki.

The meeting took place on Tuesday at the Egyptian Exhibition Centre in Cairo, where the international exhibition “EDEX-2021” was being held.

The meeting also reviewed regional and international developments, as well as their impact on the wider Mediterranean and Middle East region.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Hardalias also had a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Osama Rosdi Askar.

Afterwards, he visited the stands of Greek and foreign companies at the exhibition, talked to their representatives and was informed about their cutting-edge technological products.
