Migrants and refugees at hosting facilities in Thiva and Serres placed in total isolation

The migrants and refugees hosting facilities in Thiva and Serres were placed in total health isolation at Citizen Protection, Migration and Health Ministers decision on Saturday.
The traffic restriction measures will be in effect until October 9.
Additionally, in total isolation remain the facilities in Eleonas, Koutsohero, Malakasa, Inofita, Ritsona and Schisto and the reception and identification centres on the islands of Leros, Samos and Fylakio. In all the others facilities the measures are in effect until September 30.
In an interview with MEGA TV, Migration Minister Notis Mitarachi underlined that all 750 unaccompanied children that were at the islands’ hotspots have been transferred to other facilities at mainland Greece with last the transfer the children from the island of Chios.
