‘Greece 2021’ Committee and Athens-Macedonian News Agency sign memorandum of cooperation

The “Greece 2021” Committee on Tuesday proceeded to sign an important memorandum of cooperation with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) for the promotion and audiovisual coverage of activities and events for the 200th anniversary of the 1821 Revolution, which led to the founding of the modern Greek state.
In this way, the historic Greek news agency will demonstrate in practice its willingness to actively and dynamically participate in the national celebration.
According to a relevant announcement by the Committee, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency will create of a special microsite on its website amna.gr, which will promote the work of the “Greece 2021” Committee by posting special reports, interviews and other journalistic content related to the Committee’s activities.
The activities of the “Greece 2021” Committee will also be promoted through the main subscription news and photo services of the Agency, with relevant posts for free republishing, as well as through the Agency’s social media accounts. Also, the logo of the “Greece 2021” Committee will be displayed on a permanent basis on the amna.gr website with a link to the official website of the Committee.
Based on the significant know-how and experience of its employees, the ANA will assist in the audiovisual coverage of specific events of the “Greece 2021” Committee. These services will concern, more specifically, the live video-streaming of events, the hosting of the Committee’s digital panel and live streaming, as well as the photographic and video coverage of events, the Committee said in a statement.
On its part, based on the memorandum of cooperation, the Committee will provide the ANA with a specific number of exclusive topics and interviews related to its work and activity, while it will mention the Agency as the Committee’s media partner in its promotional material.
