President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, in a post on Twitter on Wednesday, conveyed her condolences to the President of Lebanon Michel Aoun and the families of the victims of the deadly explosions in Beirut.
“Shocked by the tragic images of disaster in Beirut. Words can’t express our sorrow and pain,” she posted.
“Sincere condolences to President Aoun and to the victims’ families. The Greek people stand by the people of Lebanon in these difficult moments”.
