Τhe Hellenic Navy Hydrographic Service (HNHS) in Heraklio, Crete issued on Monday a counter-NAVTEX on the occasion of the NAVTEXTurkey issued earlier on Monday for its research vessel ORUC REIS.
The anti-NAVTEX says that the Turkish Service is not authorised to issue the specific NAVTEX and characterises illegal the Turkish activity as it concerns an area inside the Greek continental shelf.
