FM Dendias concludes ‘outstanding week for Greek diplomacy’ with visits to three countries

This past week was outstanding in its significance for Greece, Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias said on Saturday, commenting in a tweet on official visits to France, Israel and Egypt.

In Israel he was part of a delegation of ministers headed by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
“An outstandingly important week for Greek diplomacy and the promotion of our national interestes has concluded,” he tweeted.

In Paris, he and his French counterpart participated in the EU’s Foreign Ministers Council, and in Egypt he met with the prime minister and the Foreign minister on restarting negotiations on economic zones between Greece and Egypt. Israel’s delegation, which focused on the two countries’ strategic relationship and investments, was an opportunity for him to meet with his Israeli counterpart, he said.
