Good news: Only two new coronavirus cases, no deaths reported since Sat. in Greece

The Health Ministry announced 2 new confirmed novel coronavirus cases in Greece since Saturday, in statistics provided Sunday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,917.

Of the total, 636 are linked to travel abroad and 1,696 are linked to already known cases in Greece.

A total of 13 Greeks are intubated in ICUs. Their median age is 70 years, and 4 of them are women. A total of 84.6 pct have an underlying condition or are 70+ years old. Another 106 have been discharged from ICUs since the outbreak of the illness in Greece.

The fatality rate held steady, with no new deaths, at a total of 175. Of these, 52 were women, and the median age of all was 76 years, while 95.4 pct had underlying condition and/or age of 70+ years.

Greece has so far carried out 180,518 clinical tests for the disease.
