Parliament President Constantine Tassoulas on Thursday declared the commencement of the proceedings of the “Greece 2021” Committee and its cooperation with the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy, in view of the country’s preparations for the 200th anniversary of the National Revival of Greece and the 1821 revolution against Ottoman rule.

The event began at 10:30 with the President of the Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos attending.

Parliament President Tassoulas, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Greece 2021 Committee Chairperson Gianna Angelopoulos spoke at the event.
