Main road and rail projects have been completed or are about to be completed, Spirtzis says

“The main road and rail projects have already been completed or they are about to be completed,” Transport and Infrastructure Minister Christos Spirtzis said on Monday in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
“By June 2019 we will have contracts for about 6 billion euro projects and over 9 billion euros by the end of 2019,” he underlined.
Spirtzis said that some of these projects such as the Thessaloniki metro and the road networks should have been completed years ago but they were not because of personal interest or just insufficiency.
Regarding the agreement for the interconnection of the ports of Northern Greece with the ports of Black Sea, he said that it is a major project that upgrades commercially Greece and its infrastructure.
